Salvation – What is it?
“Salvation” comes
from the Greek word SOZO,
meaning to keep safe, to rescue from danger or destruction,
to restore to health, or be freed from captivity1.
Salvation, in the Biblical sense, is linked to the idea of “redemption”.
In essence, “redemption” means to release from
debt, blame, or bondage, by payment in full of the debt owed.
