To enable scripting in Internet Explorer browsers,...

1. Click 'Tools' and then click Internet Options...

2. Click the 'Security' tab.

3. Verify the "Internet" option in the white box is selected, then click the 'Custom Level' button near the bottom of the form. (The Security Settings window displays.)

4. Scroll until you find 'Scripting'.

5. Under 'Active Scripting' click 'enable'.

6. Click the 'OK' button.

7. Click the 'OK' button on the Internet Options window. Active scripting, such as Javascript, will now be enabled.
