[Q] What is nlcc?

[A] New Life College and Career (nlcc) is the young adult, college age and older, ministry at New Life Tabernacle. First and foremost, we want to get closer to God and really discover who He is. We also recognize we need to be connected with people who really know us, what we’re going through and how to pray for us. One thing is for sure, we were not meant to journey this life alone. We need the support and encouragement of others whether we are students, working, single or married. This happens in various settings like the gathering, encounter groups, outreaches and social events.

[Q] Who is nlcc for?

[A] If you're a guy or gal who is college-aged or older you qualify. Anyone and everyone is welcome. We refuse to buy into the idea that any one person is better than the next. If you exist, you’re important. You’re accepted in nlcc, no matter who you are, what your background is or what you’ve been through. The people involved consist of UT students, Monroe Community students, Jackson, Davis, Owens, and a few other schools as well. There are also many post college people, married couples and singles, in their 20’s and 30’s. Not to mention a few high school students just wanting to get closer to God. We welcome pretty much anyone.

[Q] How can I get more involved?

[A] Actually the question should be, "how can't you get involved in nlcc?"
Just simply come. Check out Monday card night or come to 'the gathering' Thursday nights in the annex of New Life Tabernacle. Feel free to contact Pastor Josh or the church for more information. We love making new friends and meeting new people so we'll be sure to get back to you right away.
