‘Missions’ is a huge part of the vision
of nlcc. The thought of literally touching the world with Christ's
love excites us. Our Missions motto is that every person prays, every
person gives, and every person goes.
We support, as a group, missionaries of Mexico - Bill and Fayth
McConnell. We have also adopted a sister church in Ukraine. We regularly
pray for these partners and give opportunity every month for us to
sacrificially give to these precious servants. Along with supporting
missions in prayer and finances, we give every person the opportunity
to give a week or two of their lives to go on a mission trip.
In the two years of the c/c group's existence, we have taken three
missions trips and have sent out a total of 32 young adults to Nogales,
Mexico in August 2004, Scotland in June 2005, and Coatepec, Mexico
in September 2005.
In 2006 we look forward to a full missions schedule with a possibility
of three trips to get involved with. If your heart is for the nations
and you are looking for an opportunity to give yourself to an overseas
