Meet Josh and Sarah Ellis, pioneers of our college and career ministry. Josh and Sarah met at Christ For the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas, where they both attended school. While at CFNI, they became interns at Christ Church located in Ft. Worth, TX. There they were part of a small team that planted Christ Church's first college and career ministry. Upon graduation from CFNI in 2000, they began working as campus pastors with Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Texas Christian University, also in Ft. Worth. They spent three years in that position when the door was opened for them to come to New Life in June 2003. Sarah is the worship leader and together they pastor the college and career group.

Josh and Sarah's blissful day of marriage was August 5, of 2000. After five years of parenting Cassie, an adorably cute salt and peppered colored miniature schnauzer, they decided it was time to expand the family. On June 8, 2005, Alena Joy, the greatest gift of all, came into this world. Josh says, "Becoming a father, without a doubt, is the greatest accomplishment of my life."

Sarah enjoys singing and writing music. She is the most incredible wife and mom who loves to decorate, cook massive feasts, entertain guests and love on her daughter. Along with adoring his family, Josh enjoys golf and pretending he is an expert graphic designer. The subject he most enjoys reading about is how the church relates to culture and understanding the roots of Christianity.
